You’re welcome for listening! I am no expert and I’m not quite sure how to interpret this “insane dream,” but I feel inclined to guess its meaning and have a little bit of fun with it, if you don’t mind. Good.
Don’t call yourself mental just because you found a package with someone else’s remains and were attempting to deliver it to it’s rightful owner.
You were doing a good deed.
Those 1.5′ Elves you’ve described have sabotaged Christmas and by doing so, they’ve annihilated old Saint Nick and gift wrapped him for some poor little kids to find on December 25th. It’s their way of saying, “Screw Christmas, and the heck with Santa Claus!”
I think you were being neighborly because it was in fact Christmastime, eventhough you may have felt rejected by the new neighbor because he refused to bestow his spare key upon you-in the event of a lockout or a petsitting favor. You were informing your neighbor that you were available to help and reliable and he rejected you.
You climbed the apartment buildings because that is what Spiderman, Batman or the Hulk would do…and you have an affinity for comic strips =)
Or…you climbed the buildings because it was similar to the “Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” meaning the Grinch despised Christmastime-the lights, the carols, the people, the trees, ornaments(and if there were Elves instead of “Who’s”…he would’ve hated them.) and all- but as the story unfolds, he begins to accept it. Throughout the story we see the Grinch climbing back up to his lonely abode on the top of the dreariest mounaintop(and ironically, you live in CO).
You seem confused, and possibly disappointed, that you’ve never recovered the red hat…but you were aware that you lost it but now that Santa is gone-and you know he’s gone out in pieces, and you’ll not receive anymore toys for being good…at least you had his holly-jolly hat to remember him by.
Okay, so my whack interpretation may be just as weird as the “insane dream” itself. Mmmmm…naw. Don’t think so, L!
